Tuna Burgers, SL 1996

We tried these tuna burgers without buns. They were great and convenient way to use canned tuna. I am looking forward to trying them in sandwich form next time.
Tuna Burgers Ingredients

Tuna Burgers

adapted from Southern Living 1996 Annual Recipes, Page 139

We omitted the 1/2 cup of green bell pepper as we did not have any.

2 eggs
2 9 oz cans of tuna
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
extra breadcrumbs

Combine first 9 ingredients and mix, then make patties.
Two things we forgot to do after making the patties were greasing the pan (our patties stuck to the pan) and coating both sides of the patty with breadcrumbs.
After greasing the pan and coating both sides of the patty with breadcrumbs, bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
